Life Designer: Ideas & Goals

Last updated: March 29, 2026

This policy describes how Life Designer (“the app”) handles information when you use it on iPhone and iPad. We designed the app to keep your personal content on your device. If you have questions, use the Support link on the app’s App Store product page (set in App Store Connect) or the contact method shown there.

1. Data we do not collect

We do not operate user accounts in the app for sign-in. We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs that send your personal content or identity to us in the version of the app described by this policy.

2. Data stored on your device

Content you create in the app—such as resolutions, drafts, reminders, and related preferences—is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (including SwiftData and standard app preferences). We do not receive this information on our servers because the app does not sync it to a backend operated by us in this release.

You can remove local app data using in-app controls (for example, “Clear All Data” in Settings), subject to how iOS manages app data.

3. Notifications

Reminder and horizon-related notifications are scheduled on your device through Apple’s notification system. We do not need to see your notification content on our systems to deliver them.

4. Apple Watch (optional)

If you use a companion Apple Watch app, Apple’s Watch Connectivity may exchange data between your iPhone and your Apple Watch to support features you enable. That exchange is handled by Apple’s frameworks between your own devices; we do not operate a separate cloud service for that sync in this release.

5. Links and other apps

The app may open websites or the App Store when you choose (for example, sharing the app or opening a link). Those services have their own privacy policies; we do not control them.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children as part of operating the app as described here.

7. Changes

We may update this policy if the app’s behavior changes (for example, if we add cloud sync or analytics). The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.

8. Your rights and regional laws

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. For this on-device version of the app, most data exists only on your device under your control. For requests about data we might hold as a business (for example, if you email support), contact us using the App Store support channel or the contact information on the product page.
